How to Play 8 Ball Pool – Beginner Guide 2026

8 Ball Pool is a billiards game. You play against another player — one player pots solids (1–7), the other pots stripes (9–15). After potting all your balls, you must pot the black 8-ball to win. Pot the 8-ball too early or pot it in the wrong pocket and you lose immediately.
