▶ Play Tank Trouble NowTank Trouble is a classic browser tank game that remains a favorite because of one brilliant mechanic: bullets bounce off walls. In a maze, this single rule creates tactical depth far beyond what the simple controls suggest.
Two or three players navigate a maze simultaneously, firing shells that ricochet off every wall. Shooting straight at an opponent rarely works — they move, the bullet misses, and it comes back toward you. Instead, angles, rebounds, and predicting where your shell will end up after two or three bounces become the dominant skill.
The three-player mode adds a chaotic dimension where surviving longer than both opponents sometimes matters more than eliminating anyone. Temporary alliances form and break mid-match. Players with no health advantage suddenly become targets once the other two start fighting.
Tank Trouble has been a staple of school computer labs for over a decade. The browser version requires no download, runs on any hardware, and supports 2–3 players sharing a single keyboard.
