The power pellet creates the game's central tension. Four power pellets in each maze temporarily reverse the power dynamic â making ghosts vulnerable rather than predatory. But this window is brief, and chasing fleeing ghosts risks getting caught when the effect ends. Timing power pellet activation when multiple ghosts are nearby maximizes both safety and bonus points.
