Towers placed at path bends hit balloons multiple times per pass — dramatically multiplying their effective damage. A Tack Shooter at an inner 90-degree bend fires in 4 directions into convergent traffic. Always identify the sharpest bends before placing your first tower.
MOAB-class balloons require dedicated high-damage towers. Start building MOAB damage capacity by round 40 minimum. Bomb Tower Path 1 (MOAB Mauler), Super Monkey Path 2 (Ultra Vision), and Monkey Ace Path 1 (Fighter Plane) are the most cost-efficient MOAB options.
Monkey Village provides +10% range and -10% cost to all towers in its radius. Never place a Village without first placing 4-6 towers inside its radius. Calculate coverage before purchase — a Village benefiting only 2 towers is usually a poor investment versus more offensive towers.
Banana Farm provides income each round that compounds across the entire game. Early Banana Farm (rounds 10-15) pays for itself within 8-10 rounds and funds late-game tower density. Many expert strategies include 3-4 Farms before investing heavily in offensive towers.
Rounds 70+: Super Monkey (Path 2 Ultra), Monkey Ace (Path 1), MOAB Assassin special, and multiple Banana Farms supporting infinite cash flow. The transition from mid-game defensive holds to late-game overwhelming offense is the key strategic arc.
